ZEISS offer a range of anti-reflective, dirt resistant and easy to clean coatings, and lenses that come with full UV protection.

Look better: the blue reflective coatings are more transparent, allowing for natural vision with less perceived reflections on the lenses.

Functional anti-reflective coatings
Some viewing tasks require more than traditional AR coatings, for example driving at night, dawn or dusk, or in challenging weather conditions. Coatings that block specific wavelengths can reduce the overall visual stress perceived by customers.
Premium sun coatings for tinted lenses
All tinted lenses with DuraVision® Mirror UV and DuraVision® Flash UV come with an anti-reflective coating on the back surface. This specific spectacle lens coating eliminates distracting reflections for uncompromised visual clarity and comfortable viewing. Blue light blocking for digital screen use
Your customers are exposed to potentially harmful blue-violet light on a daily basis, both outdoors and indoors. It is important for a lens prescription to include adequate blue light blocking depending on its intensity. ZEISS DuraVision BlueProtect is a coating specially developed for people who spend a lot of their time indoors and are exposed to blue-violet light from LEDs as well as TV, computer or tablet screens.

T&I measurement / calculation data on file. Colour Rendering Index (CRI) - DuraVision Flash UV changes colour perception only minimally compared to the same base lens without a coating. DuraVision Mirror UV changes the colour perception significantly. According to legal standards for minimum transmission for signal detection, DuraVision Flash UV does not cause significant enough changes to the base lens to render the lens unsuitable for driving, unless the base lens already is darker than 90% absorption, which is not suitable for driving already. Some DuraVision Mirror UV coatings may change transmission properties and therefore signal detection, rendering the lens unsuitable for driving.
